While you don’t have to have prior construction experience, we do want you to possess basic business knowledge and the motivation to learn more, the ability to manage a team, excellent customer service, a knack for sales, and an entrepreneurial spirit that gets you excited about growing the Bluewater Exteriors brand. Our ideal franchise owners are driven, financially qualified, and excited to follow the franchise model we’ve worked so hard to make right. This is a business built on trust, reliability, and value. What is provided as part of the Bluewater Exteriors franchise program?
A lot! The Bluewater Exteriors team is excited to welcome new franchise owners into our network. This is an opportunity to start an exciting home-based (or leased commercial space) business and grow it to achieve your goals. With hands-on training from our founding team, you will learn about the business, our sales processes, technology tools, and more so that you are fully confident as you open and operate your business. You will receive 30 hours of pre-opening training to be completed virtually. Once you join us at our flagship location, you’ll complete two training modules. The first will be business administration training for five days of both classroom and on the job training. Next, you’ll complete 15 days (your key tech will spend 20 days) learning the craft side of the business, in the classroom and on the job. Then, members of our team will join you in your protected territory for three more days within the first 90 days of operations, to make sure business is off to a smooth start. In addition, you will have access to our exclusive confidential operations manual, a go-to guide for daily operations, techniques, and procedures. You will feel great about the start of your business, and the support you will receive from our team.
How much will the Bluewater Exteriors franchise program cost me?
The estimated initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $183,685 to $261,711 for a single-unit territory. This includes a $45,000 initial franchise fee for a single unit agreement. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund your initial business growth stages. But we invite you to ask us about financial incentives for current employees, first responders, and veterans, and access to financing options from our network of industry contacts.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?

We charge a royalty rate equal to 6% of gross revenues, subject to a minimum annual royalty. Royalties allow us to fund our ongoing support services, training, and the continued development of programs, and systems upgrades to guide you as you own a gutter repair business that also offers screened enclosure services. Are there any advertising fees?

Bluewater Franchising, LLC will require franchise owners to spend the greater of $2,000 or 4% of monthly sales revenue on local marketing, and will also require them to contribute 2% of gross revenues into the brand marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies and materials designed to help promote the Bluewater Exteriors brand. What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years.
